Teguise Town Hall has planned two events for the eve of All Saints’ Day

This Thursday, October 31st, Teguise will be hosting two events held on the eve of All Saints Day. There’ll be a Halloween party at the Costa Teguise Civic Centre for the kids and then later in the evening up in La Villa, there will be a traditional celebration of the Noche de los Finaos, when people take to the streets to honour the deceased.

The Halloween party starts at 5.30 pm in the Costa Teguise Civic Centre with creepily creative craft workshops and face-painting followed by spook-tacular performances of juggling, magic and fire shows.

The parade of musicians and performers commemorating those who have passed away starts at Teguise’s Municipal Library at 8 pm and goes through the village.  Festival goers will also be treated to roasted chestnuts and hot chocolate.

Noche de Los Finaos (Night of the Deceased) is an age old festivity that has long been a part of Canarian culture.
